Currumbin rock pools

Hello! I hope you guys had a fantastic Christmas filled with the best company. I spent my Christmas Eve and Christmas Day at the Huang household and as a result forgot to upload a post for my last day of #BLOGMAS woops.. sorry :(

Maddy and Sandra picked me up on Boxing Day at about 1pm in the afternoon to go on a spontaneous adventure! We planned to go hiking and threw in the word "waterfall" into Google maps before ending up at Currumbin rock pools... which was literally right next to the parking area but HEY we still got a really nice swim out of it.

Gorgeous panoramic views.

Solid 50m hike from the parking spot to the water.

Sandra and Maddy matchy matchy in Triangl and me in ASOS! #IBTC

*intense faith in self to bring iPhone over water and not drop it*

I'd definitely recommend this place for anybody looking to go on a mini road trip! From memory it's about a 45-60 minute drive away from Brisband and it's really easy to find if you follow the GPS. We actually freaked out about 5km away because our reception cut out and we just followed the road hoping we'd get there HAHAHA.

We've already made plans to ACTUALLY go hiking at Springbrook before Summer ends so I can't wait :') I hope all of you have a fantastic day! S.

#BLOGMAS: Things that happened this year pt. 3 July - December

Hello! Hope you guys had a fantastic day :) I spent mine behind my mask and glasses at the dental clinic with my nose running like a tap and the pain killers unable to ease my never ending migraine :'(

On a brighter note, can you guys believe that it's Christmas Eve tomorrow!? 2014 honestly flew by so quickly for me and I'm not really sure how to feel about it.. While I'd like to say that the reason for combining the last two quarters of my year into this one post is because I wanted to have an extra blogging day for new different content, it's really because not that much happened. Regardless, I hope you guys enjoy the last post recapping this year for me and that you all have exciting plans for Christmas. I'll probably be spending my Christmas Eve with some close friends at the Huang household!

July 8 - Went to Wellington Point for the first time.

July 9 - Attended the annual massive soccer game.

July 10 - Experienced the most stressful experience of my life when I successfully booked 10 tickets for the EUS engineering ball from a $2 internet kiosk at the shopping centre.

August 17 - Celebrated Alice's 19th birthday by having dinner at George's Paragon on Sanctuary Cove!

September 7 - Received a Daniel Wellington watch from Alice.

September 18 - Had a cocktail with a raw egg in it for the first time while celebrating Jinwook's birthday.

September 21 - Attended the 2014 EUS ball and was so disappointed with everything considering the price I paid for the ticket :(

September 23 - Got my marks back for my one of my marketing midsems and ended up with the second highest score in the cohort.

September 27 - Alice peer pressured me for a solid hour into ordering my first designer bag.

#BLOGMAS: New years resolutions for 2015

Hello! I managed to catch a cold just a few days before Christmas and as a result have spent the day watching American Horror Story Coven wrapped up in bed whilst eating home made curry and frozen lasagna. I didn't really have a clue about what to post today but I'm finding myself in a bit of a typing mood so brace yourself for a short post likely to be filled with a bunch of grammatical errors until Alice reads it and gets me to fix them up. With the new year just a over a week away I thought that it'd be appropriate to write a list of resolutions and general things that I wanted to achieve by the end of 2015. I know that if I want to do something than I should be able to at any time without a particular start date but there's just something satisfying in having the thought of a clean slate.

1. I want to graduate from my business management degree. I originally had plans of deferring my studies to graduate in 2016 because I didn't want to move away from home so soon however I'm so close I decided I might as well get it done and dusted.

2. I want to get back on track with my fitness. I recently planned on taking a 10 day break from the Kayla Itsines guide after reaching week 9 in order to focus on my final exams however..... yeah holiday season happened and I just haven't had the motivation to get back on track with my training. I'd also like to begin jogging when the weather isn't so warm.

3. I want to be able to make more productive use of my time. Particularly during university semesters I find myself in bed on my laptop for hours at a time just because I'm not bothered to go do things like learn how to cook, clean up my room or simply open up a lecture. I'd also like to go a year without waking up in the afternoon.

4. I want to get my license HAHAHAHA.

5. I want to save up enough money to buy and maintain my first car without financial assistance from my parents.

6. I want to visit Queenstown. I've been wanting to for the last few months and have mentioned it on my blog a few times as well. I still haven't decided whether I want to visit in the Winter to ski or in the Spring/Autumn to sightsee but it'll happen!

7. I want to spend more time with my friends. I want to make more of an effort to see people rather than just randomly catching up when we coincidentally bump into each other on the street and both have an hour free.

8. I want to find a new job and continue to work 2-3 jobs at a time throughout the year. I plan to continue to be a dental assistant until I leave Brisbane or find a full time job but I'd like to continue working in beauty (since the beauty job I'm currently working is a Summer based contract) and also continue gaining marketing experience.

9. I want to know how to make myself happy. While I do obviously know that I have the most amazing network of support coming from incredible family and friends, I want to be able to find comfort in having my own company.

Ps. Alice proof read this post and couldn't find any mistakes *score*

#BLOGMAS: Travel Diaries - Sydney: Day 03

Welcome to the last post in my Sydney travel diaries! To be completely honest the three of us were so tired by the third day. We left all of our luggage at the apartment when we checked out at 11 and made out way to the Sydney Fish Markets.

Say hello to one of the best Uber drivers I've had so far!

Alice got really excited when she found out that there was a Passionflower literally two minutes away from where we were staying so we made a stop there!

Went back to QVB to pick up chocolate covered fruit..

 .. And macarons of course!

Chilled at Tea Salon for a few hours before we got hungry.

 Last meals before heading home!

I hope you guys all have a fantastic weekend! S.
