My 19th birthday

Um, okay.. I really have no idea how this happened but apparently I had such an eventful week that I have enough content to avoid photo and caption updates - SOOOO, I'm very excited to proudly say that for the first time in a long time, I'll actually be able to upload event specific posts to srhtrng woohoo! *parties*.

I had the pleasure of celebrating my 19th birthday with some lovely girls this year. I booked a table of 11 for the Quintessential High Tea at Bacchus. The venue was freaking amazing and completely exceeded my expectations. The view from the bar was incredible and I can't wait to head back to try some of their tapas. Apparently they're doing some renovations so they've closed off part of their venue which means I'll have to wait for a little bit though.

Dessert tier (from memory) macarons, cupcakes, mousse stacks and dark chocolate/mint panna cotta. Just a word of warning, but the desserts aren't to everyone's taste. A lot of the girls thought they were way too sweet but I thought they were fine because I have the biggest sweet tooth imaginable.
Normal and date scones with cream and jam. Scones are on the smaller side but the cream and jam are quite nice!
You see those gorgeous croissants sitting right there? THEY WERE SOOOO GOOD.
Overall, I had a wonderful experience. The staff were the most polite people you could have ever come across and the venue was beautiful. My friends who popped their high tea cherries loved it too*phew* I think the only downside of dining here is that you have to prepay for the booking when you go with a large group. Super annoying since they don't offer refunds for people who can't make it but they do give you the option of putting it onto a bar tab so at least your money isn't going to nothing I guess.
Gift haul time! I gifted myself a pair of Roshe Runs from Nike which I've been chasing for the loooongest time. This colour was ridiculously hard to find I almost cried when I was browing Glue's online shop and they had my size in stock. It was even better because they were full price so I got a 15% student discount from myunidays *hi 5s self*.
YSL loves from one of Jason's sisters (thanks Ee!).
Benefit gifts from Hayley. Salina ended up getting me the same eyeliner as well HAHA.
The prettiest double wall glass products from Sandra!

My first Glasshouse candle from Caroline - smells so good. I was relieved that she didn't get me the Taha candle because I literally want to eat everything in Jenny's room when she lights it up.
Absolutely love T2's packaging.
From Aileen, Steph, Mel and Cindy!!!

New favourite concealer gifted from Joy.

Macarons delivered straight from Melbourne - thanks Mel!

Thank you to absolutely everybody who made my birthday special. Each and every year I am completely blown away by the amount of love I receive from people. I'm back to uni tomorrow but I'll be uploading another post by the end of this week! Jason took me to a surprise location for the weekend so I'll let you guys know all about it. I hope you're all well x, s.
