Photo & caption update XIII

Hi lovelies :-) I can't believe how slowly this week is going. Only one more day and then I'll be onto my mid semester break (which will be spent trying to catch up on everything that I've missed). Here's the usual drill!

Breakfast at Brew with some girlies

I'm not joking when I say that they had the best banana bread I've ever tasted in my 17 years of living

Adrienne bought a longboard!

... and also a panda headband

I came home after a long day and found out that she came into my house earlier to drop these delicious macarons off for me!! Thank you A&J

I went grocery shopping with Jason and then this happened. To give you guys an idea of how unhealthy we are, here's a complete list of the things we bought: 5 x boxes of Oreos, 1 x bag of Dorito chips, 2 x boxes of Tim Tams.

I had Maccas breakfast for the first time in sooooooo long

Hope you guys are well! Hopefully my new camera will be arriving very soon and I'll be able to have some nicer quality photos by next week. xo, s.

Intel Ultrabook Convertible: Part II

Hi lovelies. About a week as gone by now since my last post about the Ultrabook Convertible and I thought that I should let you guys know what I ended up thinking about it in case any of you were interested. I've now gone back to my usual laptop and I really do have to admit that the Ultrabook Convertible made my life just that much easier. Being a tablet and laptop in one, it had so many advantages that aren't possible with an ordinary laptop!

If you guys read my last post on the Ultrabook, you would know that I love nothing more than convenience and efficiency with a product. The thing that I love most about the Intel Ultrabook Convertible series is that they fit exactly into that description. With Intel processors having incredibly fast operating speeds on top of their revolutionary anytime change from laptop to tablet design, there's not really much else you could ask in a product.

Since changing from a desktop to a laptop, one of the huge disadvantages I've noticed as a blogger is that it's a lot harder to edit photos because of having a touch pad instead of a mouse. This makes selecting parts of photos a much more tedious job than it should be meaning that I spend more of my time on things that I don't need to. This is where the touch functionality comes in handy, I can easily work the image over the ENTIRE screen!! Compare this to the tiny space available with a touch pad on a standard laptop and just think about how much easier it'd be.

Flipping between the tablet and laptop mode mainly came in handy where I was just wanting to read other people's blogs or articles. That's not the only thing that the tablet comes in handy for though! Everything from propping it up for some movie marathons to using the webcam as your own personal photo booth. It's such a shame that I wasn't able to play around with it for a little bit longer :-(

Here are some other little facts about the Ultrabook that I thought you guys should know along with some more photos to finish off today's post!

♥ Being ultra-light and so thin that it'll slip into your bag as easily as an A4 notepad makes them perfect for a busy uni student that doesn't want to carry more than one bag ♥

♥ They wake up in only seven seconds which makes sure you won't miss out on any more notes than you have to if you're running late for a class ♥

♥ They update your apps in sleep mode so you don't have to worry about it while you're working ♥

♥ Enough battery life to get you through three movies!!! Such a tempting procrastination tool ♥

♥ They’re powerful enough to get all the tough stuff done ♥

♥ They transfer files extra-fast so that it doesn't keep you waiting ♥

♥ With anti-theft technology, they’ll keep all your important documents safe and sound ♥

♥ They deliver the best Windows 8 experience ♥

I hope that all of you are well and that you have a great week. xo, s.

Intel Ultrabook Convertible

Ever since I bought my first laptop for my Korea trip at the end of last year, I've literally been attached to it for at least 10 hours a day. Because of having all of my uni work, photos and blogging materials on my laptop,  I value nothing more than efficiency and convenience to make sure that I can use it anywhere and any place! I was given the opportunity to try out one of the new Sony Ultrabook Convertibles, powered by Intel, for a week and I wanted to share this new innovative product with you guys!

One of the best things about this Ultrabook is that it has a touch screen! It makes scrolling infinitely easier and flipping through a million tabs only takes the simple horizontal swipe of a finger. This also comes in really handy since the Ultrabook changes from a laptop to a tablet whenever necessary. All you have to do is pull up the screen and it slides up effortlessly. I especially love this because it's like having two products in one (value for money!!).

Above is my blog on the Ultrabook Convertible in tablet form. I have to admit that my blog has never looked so good on any other screen. I love how the tablet form gives me a better view of what my blog would look like on a screen with bigger dimensions in comparison to what I can see on a laptop so I can make sure that everything I post looks nice for as many people as possible.

Here is my blog on the Ultrabook in laptop form! You can really tell how much more the tablet form allows you to see in comparison.

I'll be posting something in another week for you guys to let you know a bit more about the Ultrabook Convertible! The next post will let you know what I thought of the product as well some other features I didn't mention in this one. It'll have some full photos of the product as well! In the mean time, hope you guys have been having a great week! xo, s.

Photo & caption update XII

Hi guys! I'm sorry that it's taken so long for me to move to something that's a bit more convenient but better late than never, right? I found out a while ago that formspring changed so that you have to have an account even if you want to ask anonymous questions. The new site is almost identical to formspring but you don't need an account to use it! You can find the new gadget in my sidebar under my Twitter feed :)Alternatively you can just click on the notice above and it'll redirect you.
